Everyone’s Talking About AI. I’m Building Something Different.
Apr 12, 2026

Everyone has a take on AI right now. I don’t. Instead, I’ve been getting clearer on something else entirely: what actually creates value in my work—and what never did.
I’m Not Building a High-Volume Business
There’s a version of this moment where I could lean in the other direction.
More content.
More clients.
More scale.
More output, faster.
And if I’m honest, that model is easy to hide in. It looks productive. It feels safe.
But it’s not the business I want to build. I’m not interested in high-volume, low-impact work.
I’m building something much more intentional:
A small number of clients
Deep, trusted relationships
Work that actually influences how a business operates—not just how it looks on paper
This way of working isn’t for everyone—and it’s not meant to be.
Because the Real Value Isn’t in the Output
AI can generate ideas.
It can speed things up.
It can support execution.
But the most important parts of my work were never about output.
They’re about:
Context
Judgment
Timing
Trust
They’re about sitting with a leadership team when something isn’t working—even if no one can fully articulate why yet.
They’re about reading between the lines, understanding people—not just process—and helping businesses make decisions they can actually stand behind.
That kind of work doesn’t come from volume.
It comes from proximity.
Depth Makes the Work Better
What I’ve seen over and over again is this:
The better the relationship, the better the work.
When there’s trust, context, and consistency:
Conversations get more honest
Decisions get clearer
Solutions actually stick
You can’t shortcut that. And you definitely can’t scale it across dozens of surface-level engagements.
This Is What I’m Doubling Down On
So while the conversation continues around AI and what it changes…
I’m doubling down on:
My time
My perspective
The relationships I build with the clients I choose to work with
Not more.
Better.
Not broader.
Deeper.
And not with everyone—
with the right ones.
The ones who understand that real impact doesn’t come from speed alone.
It comes from alignment, trust, and doing the work that actually matters.
AI will keep evolving, as it should. But the businesses that will stand out won’t just be the ones using the best tools. They’ll be the ones making better decisions, building stronger teams, and creating environments where people actually perform at their best.
That’s the work I care about.
And that’s the work I’m building my business around.
If This Resonates
I’m intentionally working with a small number of organizations in this way. If you’re building a business where people, culture, and performance actually matter—and you’re looking for a true partner in that work—this is exactly where I focus.
